Methodology

One useful thing, deliberately limited.

One Good Minute is built around a simple constraint: the primary experience ends after one word, question, or idea. There is no infinite feed beneath it.

Personal selection

You choose at least three interests. The app uses that mix to select a daily card and stores the selection on your device. Once a card is assigned for a date, it stays the same for that date even if your interests later change.

Learning design

Each card asks for an active choice before showing the answer. The explanation then adds context, a memory hook, and, when useful, an example. Every seventh paid card may revisit something you saw earlier as a memory check.

Content standards

The proof of concept includes evergreen language, vocabulary, history, science, geography, business, and current-literacy concepts. Before a public launch, every card should receive an editorial fact check. Time-sensitive cards should include a source, publication date, and expiration date so an old headline cannot quietly become a new “fact.”

What it does not claim

This is an educational habit product, not a medical treatment, diagnostic service, intelligence test, financial adviser, or substitute for professional instruction. The goal is modest: trade one automatic scroll for one intentional moment of learning.
